5. Competitive Events
(1) 500 m Speed Race
(2) Freestyle
6. Competition Format
(1) 20 countries/regions with 1 rider per country/region
shall be invited;
(2) 20 riders from within China shall be invited；
(3) It is a must for every rider to buy accident
insurance for their travel and competitions before
departure from their country/region and the organizers
will buy individual accident insurance for each rider at
the designated insurance company;
(4) All riders are requested to sign the attached
disclaimer.
7. Method of Participation
(1) The international kitesurfing rules shall be used;
(2) All riders are requested to take part in the
exhibition of the Opening Ceremony on August 22;
(3) All riders are requested to wear the numbers
allocated by the organizers;
(4) The rights to change or cancel the competitions for
the reason of weather are reserved.
8. Ranking and Awarding
(1) The first 6 places of both events shall be ranked
and awarded trophies on the basis of the accumulative
points;
(2) The other placers shall be awarded prizes for
excellent exhibition.
9. Expenses
(1) The organizers shall provide the foreign riders
with the return economic-class air tickets(from
the nearest international airport of their domicile to
Qingdao International Airport) and Chinese riders with
return air tickets or train tickets. Both foreign and
Chinese riders shall be provided with food and
accommodations and local transportation during their
stay in Weifang(from August 20 to 23, 4 days)；
(2) Pick-up service shall be arranged at the Qingdao
International Airport, Weifang Airport, Weifang Railway
Station as well as Weifang Bus Station.
10. Judges
3 International judges shall be invited to officiate at
the competitions and a jury shall be appointed.

12. Entry
(1) All riders are requested to fill out the entry form
as per requested and send to the organizers no later
than August 1 so that the organizers develop the
programming on that basis;
(2) All riders are requested to inform the organizers of
their flight details upon receipt of the confirmation of
their entries so that pick-up could be arranged
accordingly.

Please read
carefully and fill in all blanks before signing.
I,
______________________________, hereby affirm that I
have been advised and thoroughly informed of the
inherent hazards of kitesurfing.
I
acknowledge such activity is subject to mishap and even
injury to participants.
I understand
that I AM SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING MY OWN SAFETY
DURING PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACTIVITY and agree that: 1)
the facility(ies), organization(s) or supervisory
personnel offering this activity, or their employees; 2)
the organizers or promoters of this event; 3) sponsors
and its affiliate or subsidiary corporations, any of
their respective employees, officers, agents or assigns
(1 through 3 hereinafter referred to as “Released
Parties”), may not be held liable or responsible in any
way for any injury, death or other damages to me or my
family, heirs, or assigns, that may occur as a result of
my participation in this activity, or as a result of the
negligence of any party, including the Released Parties,
whether passive or active. And in consideration of being
allowed to participate in this activity, I hereby assume
all risks in connection with said activity, for any
harm, injury or damage that I may suffer while I am
participating in this activity, including all risks
connected therewith, whether foreseen or unforeseen.
I understand
and agree that I am not only giving up my right to sue
the Released Parties but also any rights my heirs,
assigns, or beneficiaries may have to sue the Released
Parties resulting from my death. I further represent
that I have the authority to do so and that my heirs,
assigns and beneficiaries will be estopped from claiming
otherwise because of my representations to the Released
Parties.
I understand
that all types of kitesurfing are physically strenuous
activities and that I will be exerting myself during
this activity; and if I am injured as a result of heart
attack, panic, hyperventilation, etc. that I assume the
risk of said injuries and that I will not hold the
Released Parties responsible for the same.
I further
declare that I am of lawful age and legally competent to
sign this liability release, or that I have acquired the
written content of my parent or guardian.
I understand
and agree that the terms herein are contractual and not
a mere recital, that this instrument is a legally
binding document, and that I have signed this document
of my own free act after reading and understand the
entire Liability Release and Assumption of Risk
Agreement.
I,

agree to exempt and release the Released Parties from
all liability or responsibility whatsoever for personal
injury, property damage or wrongful death, however
caused, including but not limited to the negligence of
the released parties, whether passive or active.
